I have serious doubts where are we all headed to, which direction or are we just wandering around.... not sure, but this is what I wanted to be, where am I?

I know thought may irritate you. What about getting leaded by politicians who are elected by your kaamwali, paperwala doodhwala?? Ask yourself a question if above is fact. To my observation these are people more cautious about their voting rights than educated ones. True citizens of Incredible India exercising voting rights. Just to give example when last time, date and list of venues declared where local ward offices going collect application form from citizens, my kaamwali spend 2-3 hours in morning from her busy schedule to stand in queue and register her and her relatives. But I was "TOO BUSY"(???) to spend time for such important work. There may be many like me around. Just want to give wake up call before it is too late. As everyone know there are many well educated salaried people in Bangalore who belong to different state than Karnataka. Question is, Is everybody of them registered to get voting rights?? Enter into any IT/multinational companies and ask employees if they are exercising their voting rights in Karnataka. It will be surpurise if answer comes as YES from non karnataka people. I tried this personally and almost all of them answered NO. If somebody takes voting statistics from IT and multinational industries, statistics may prove very alarming. At the end it will not be surpurise if leaders who finally gets selected are of choice of Kaamwali, Doodhwala, Paperwala etc instead of You ( A well educated and professional citizen of Increadible India who understands what vision India should keep and where it should progress when compared with outside world) I hope above is well explainatory to highlight seriousness of the subject. Considering coming elections felt it is right time to bring awareness about voting rights and share steps required to register yourself in voters list which are quite simple. Many people have impression that documents required for applying voters id are complex which is not the case. Registering in local constituency for voting rights just needs form 6 + birth certificate + address proof. Ration card is not required as many people think. Below steps details about process for Registering in local constituency. 1. Fill in form 6 (form6.pdf). It is very simple. Takes less than 10 mins.In constituency you can mention your current area name. Section I, II , III are quite straight forward. In IV-Declaration section you will need to enter previous address compulsory. Constituency in section IV will be your previous area name.2. Only 2 proofs are required. Attach Date of Birth and your current address proof. For spouse you can attach marriage certificate if you dont have address proof in spouse name. To my knowledge address proof can be electric bill,Telephone bill, home sale deed, council tax payment receipt, driving license, passport. If you dont have above then you can enquire at phone numbers mentioned in (BangaloreListofWar dOffices. pdf) to find out what else is applicable.Date of birth proof can be passport copy, School leaving certficate etc.3. Photos are usually not required. 4. Filled form can be submitted at helpdesk counters of your respective constituency' s ward office. List of ward office in Bangalore and their addresses/phone numbers attached here in mail.(BangaloreList ofWardOffices. pdf). You can call them before to confirm exact address.It is revenue ward offices who handle these request and not other BMP offices as I was told.
